Visit Bad City with us this week! We’re digging into one of the Maestro’s favorite movies of all time, A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night! This is a black and white Iranian/American hipster vampire spaghetti-western love story and was written and directed by Ana Lily Amirpour. Her unique film includes homages to Tarantino and Lynch, but with an aesthetic that is all her own. We get into questions of whether this counts as an art film, why it makes sense that this film has an accompanying comic, and things being “greater than the sum of their parts.”
